Reviewed by: SK (12/21/2007)
Dear Becky, I love you my very good friend! I finally
finished the book! You really did help me through a lot of tough
times and you and I are survivors! God is good to us, and to all
other victims. Keep the faith. There is a light at the end of a
seemingly endless tunnel. We do deserve the best in life and
never forget you are so beautiful and that God created us in his
likeness. I want to tell you all again if it weren't for this
lovely lady, God only knows where I would be, if even alive for
that matter. Thanks again my friend and God Bless you, SK
Truly Amazing

This book is truly amazing. I commend Becky for her
courageousness and bravery. She endured horrific circumstances,
and she was still able to rise above. The book is very well
written with the intense portrayal of her life. I am a advocate
for victims of domestic violence, and I highly recommend this
book to anyone who has suffered from a domestic situation. Also,
the family members of the victim would benefit greatly from this
book. They can actually feel the agony of an abused person.
Everyone on the other side needs to seek some understanding, and
this book will allow them to do that. I can't wait for the
sequel!

Couldn't wait to read the next chapter of her life.

I read the book, and then my entire family read it. We
just kept passing it around. It was well written and I
would tell anyone to buy this book if they have ever known
anyone who has been abused or is now a victim of abuse.
Not only is it a good book to read, but it is helpful to those
whose lives are touched by violence or abuse. Be sure to
read her sequel when it comes out!
Brave Heart

This book describes with blatant honesty, a young girl so
in love with her "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing." This is a must read
for anyone having their FIRST doubts about someone they love.
Please don't hesitate, because these "Prince Charming's" NEVER
change. It's an addiction. Despite ALL the media on this
subject, this kind of power is still multiplying rapidly. As a
daughter of this kind of abuse, miraculously still married
myself, and a Mother of two sons, it was a definite eye-opener
to finally BREAK THE CYCLE to discover the REAL power of Love.
Real Love Frees your heart, your soul, your mind---always
gentle, never, ever FORCED in any way. Thanks for sharing your
Thrilling and Turbulant Roller Coaster Ride.

Not only does this book teach us that just because a
person is good looking and successful in the career area, the
biggest lesson is that the facade lies within all relationships.
What we do to overcome the unbearable is also a valuable tool.
Becky Conrad supplies us with the hope that if we have the tool,
we can use it to overcome almost anything. The book is
creatively written with the respect that we can truly see inside
the author's mind with the little quoted asides into her
thinking. You will enjoy this book, it is a subject that we all
have heard about, yet some of us might not know how to handle
it! I can't wait until the sequel!

I read this book with great interest. I was also married to Bob
and believe every word that Becky wrote. My heart goes out to
her as she was young and tolerated much more than I had. He was
abusive to me and I took my daughter and left. I have been
married to my husband for 33 years and my daughter has grown to
be a wonderful woman and a great mother.

Becky's story is heartbreaking, but one of courage for a young
woman who finally leaves her abusive relationship. I feel the
author dug deep into her soul to bring out the feelings from
long ago and bring the pages to life with this story.
